If you're using enchantments, you'll need to pull first.

I tend to kill all the dryders first then grab the agro of all the spiders just to make it easier than to pull them, i typically stay alive because i go a bit over board on the +Armour seeing i bring Phyiscal Resistence, Dolyak Signet, AND Wath yourself :|

love the build, just something to add.
i was having trouble after killing the first group of driftwoods, i would engage wiht the dryder, and a skale would come up and play, he played a bit too rough and i died. Next time around I decided i would bring along some friends to help and see if they would back me up. Sure enough, the group of 2 warriors and a monk can take the first group of 3 skale and the dryder, and if you get the timing right, they can be aggroed as far as the second beach, but not far in. This can clear an area as a major safe spot. And help gather your thought and strategies foer the second part without having to worry about those skales.
If this has been said, im sorry, I read first ...quite a few pages. Just a tactic that worked for me

I did this run for the first time today. I did it a total of 4 times: the first and the third time were perfect. The second and third however, all the skales seemed to want to join in the fun and would not leave me alone. They also seemed to want to spawn in the weirdest places...should have taken a screenshot but both times it was impossible to get to the cave. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to relocate groups of nusscance skales?

I suppose its time to start gathering a FAQ for this build...going through 75 pages(WOW) is proly getting a little tedious for those new to the build. Also to prevent people from randomly posting in OTHER forums about this build.
I'll start off, and hopefully Racthoh will update the front page with the FAQ, and tell people to read the whole post before posting questions
What is the best build for spider farming?
The best build for someone new to spider farming would probably be the W/Me Physical Resistance build as it provides good damage reduction and healing. This build consists of Physical Resistance Spint Doylak Signet Watch Yourself and Healing Signet with your choice of axe or sword damage skills. For the quickest build, at the moment it would be W/Mo Healing Hands build.
When I try to get to the spiders, the scales aggro me and I die, what can help me from wasting 1k?
Very common problem, usually an easy solution. First thing is you need to know where the scales are going to be when you want to take a break. Generally speaking, scales follow the same pattern constantly, a few minutes sitting there watching them on your minimap will save you a lot of aggrivation. Also you can get a Lueienants(Correct this spelling somebody) Helm from Henge of Denravi for really cheap, this cuts the hex time down. You may also want to swap out a -HP rune for another piece of armor so that you have more time to escape. You never want to aggro more then one mob of scales at a time. Also, make sure you sprint out of the scale aggro, not into it..It helps to get out quicker, not in quicker.
What is the best equipment setup for this build(W/Me)?
Weapon and Shield should be something like the following:
F1: Zealous (Axe or Sword) of Defense(Best is 15^50 inherent damage mod, but while stanced will do as well.) and a Max Armor Level +45 Health while in a Stance and -2 Health while in a stance(Or equivilent)
F2: (Axe or Sword) Of Fortitude And Shield mentioned above.(This helps in the running if your still having problems.
F3: Longbow(Anything really, as long as it has longbow in the name then you should be fine.)
F4: Gwens Broken Flute. (Just to be cool, not needed )
Your armor should be one piece of ascalon/knights armor on your feet arms or head with the rest being gladiators armor, this provides best damage reduction with good armor and energy. Apply runes as needed in specific build.
Ok, thats all for now, Racthoh generally gets more questions then I do...Racthoh post!

Well, I couldn't access the forums when I wanted to look up your build information Rac, and we were losing favor too fast for me to bother with Google, so I just went in with a build of my own (which you'll probably recognize... ).
Attributes
Swordsmanship 12+1+3 (16)
Strength 8+1 (9)
Tactics 10+1 (11)
Equipment
Duelist's Helm of Superior Swordsmanship
Dreadnought's Curiass (you may want to add a vigor rune here )
Beserker's Gauntlets of Minor Strength
Dreadnought's Leggings of Minor Tactics
Knight's Boots of Superior Absorption
Furious Fellblade of Warding
Slashing Damage: 15-22 (Requires 9 Sworsmanship)
Damage +15% (while health is above 50%)
Armor +7 (vs. elemental attacks) <-- useful for the run if Shadow Ele's decide to toss a Fireball your way
Double adrenaline on hit (Chance: 10%)
Any Longbow or Flatbow; stats do not matter as it is used simply for pulling.
Exalted Aegis
Armor: 16 (Requires 9 Strength)
Received damage -5 (Chance: 20%)
Health +30
Crimson Carapace Shield
Armor: 16 (Requires 9 Tactics)
Health +45 (while in a Stance)
Received damage -2 (while in a Stance)
Skills
Dragon Slash {E}
Silverwing Slash
Healing Signet
Flurry
Dolyak Signet
"Watch Yourself!"
"I Will Survive!"
Sprint
Explaining the run there would be pointless, as you went into the details with your original post. I will say that, for the run, I used the Crimson Carapace Shield, and switched to the Exalted Aegis for the actual fighting portion of the farm.
Basic idea is to use Flurry when you need to get adrenaline built up quick for "Watch Yourself!" or a finishing slash; Flurry is also a very good way to prematurely end Wastrel's Worry and save yourself a bit of hassle when fighting those blasted Dryder's.
The real pricks of the run are the Spiders themselves. All that Poison spamming really bothered me when I was running my Plague Touch build, so I switched out Touch for "I Will Survive!". Not only was Touch more of a help to the Spiders than to me, but "I Will Survive!" is a much better use of the skill slot, as it serves to decrease the amount of DoT I take from the Poison.
What I really like about this build is that, when timed right, you can fire off "Watch Yourself!", Dragon Slash, Silverwing Slash, Dragon Slash, "Watch Yourself!", and another Silverwing Slash in a reasonably quick succession. This makes quick work of the Dryders and does a good deal of damage to the Driftwoods.

^ The only problems I have with the above build is that it would be alot slower to kill all the spiders in the cave in a decent time, and as well as the driftwoods at the beginning where the shadow patrol comes back.
The only problem i have is Dolyak Signet, it may be great for farming but if a lone skale comes wandering out while in the midst of fighting your screwed.

I made several runs with this build before North America lost Favor this morning; completed about 4 runs, if I recall correctly. So I made four full runs in under an hour. Maybe I was lucky, I dunno.
Maybe it is slower than Rac's build, or an axe build. I wouldn't know, as this is my first time solo'ing the Shore...
I never had a problem with the Shadow patrol coming back before I had finished off the Driftwoods and the Dryder at that location (in fact I was long past that before they came back...); nor did I ever get into a position where a Skale wandered into my aggro range in the midst of battle.
